Music-About Me

Prior to my recent relocation to beautiful Palm Harbor, Florida, I had performed extensively throughout the Fox Valley, Wisconsin area with a variety of great organizations, including:

  • Ripon College Wind Ensemble
  • Ripon College Orchestra
  • Marion College Varsity Band
  • Fond du Lac Community Band
  • Fond du Lac Chamber Orchestra
  • Oshkosh Chamber Singers
  • Oshkosh Symphony Orhestra
  • UW Oshkosh Wind Ensemble
  • UW Oshkosh Orchestra
  • UW Oshkosh Early Music Ensemble
  • Wisconsin Symphonic Winds

I started teaching privately in 2003, during my last year of college at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and completed my Bachelor of Arts-Music degree in 2004.

I continued teaching and began playing the harp in 2006. I also started adjudicating Solo and Ensemble festivals for WSMA (Wisconsin School Music Association) in 2006 and became a Master Adjudicator in 2018.

I have always had an interest in Early Music (pre 1700), and enjoy attending the annual Whitewater Early Music Festival http://www.whitewaterearlymusic.org/.  I was preiously a member of The Renard Consort, an Appleton, WI based group of recorder enthusiasts consisting of both amateur and professional musicians.  Renard plays a variety of styles and composers, from pre-renaissance to contemporary.  In 2018, I started learning to play the bass viola da gamba to further pursue my interest in Early Music.
